Job Description

Based in Cape Town, The Publishing Partnership is looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join their dynamic advertising sales team.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Sales strategy: To develop, execute and manage the multi-platform sales strategy for your specific portfolio of clients with your Manager in order to meet targets set
  • Advertising sales: Meet advertising sales targets set for print and in select, specified cases special projects as set out by the Manager.
  • New business: Source, secure and bring in new business in a creative and innovative manner
  • Administration: Accurate administration and adherence to deadlines related to this role
  • Client service: Professional service of all clients in your portfolio.
  • Teamwork: Supportive, respectful, professional
  • Keep abreast with industry sale trends and competitors

 

Requirements

  • Computer literate
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Hard working and results driven
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Attention to detail
  • Atleast 2-3 year’s print magazine sales experience.
